  • What has changed with the book search?
Now when you search you'll get both digitized book results as well as records for millions of other books that still just exist in the analog world.
  • Do you think people will still be reading books in 10 years? Why or why not?
No because in a few years you will be able to read all your books off the internet and there would be no reason to buy the books. I think a lot of people don' t like to read books as it is so i don't think they would even exist for classes anymore and then there would be computers instead.

  • How long do you currently read online per day (in hours)? How long do you currently read offline per day (in hours)?
maybe about 2 or 3 hours, not at all unless it is in school so maybe about an 1 hour in total.
  • What is 'product placement'?
when companies arrange to have a specific brand used in a particular TV show or film, or by a specific actor.
  • How much does Martha Stewart charge to mention a product on the air?
$10,000 for a 30-second spot, as opposed to $18,000 for The View
  • Do you think her use of this is hurting her ratings?
No it is just helping her company and housewives at home who need help with this things and don't know what to buy. She is like michael jordon but for home needs.

  • What do you think of product placement?
I think as long as it helps promote their business good for them it is not my problem because i am not the one spending the money or investing it even though it would be nice to invest in it. But if you look at it at if i buy the product then i am investing money in it and i am spending money. this is what i think about product placement.

-How does the situation today compare with what happened at the library of Alexandria?
Well we are losing a lot of important software that hold information that we might need and that happened to the library of Alexandria when it was destroyed and now it is no longer. Now it is happening again and they want to figure out better ways to perserve our historic information.

-Give a summary of the article and your own feelings as to whether the American government should invest money in this project.
They want to spend millions and i mean millions of dollars trying to perserve this important artifacts and information. i personally like the idea, because i don't think what happened to the alexandria library should happen again. but i think we shouldn't be spending all that money when we could use it for more important stuff like diseases. My opinion is they need to focus on stuff that is going to better us and the world. they need to ask themselves are the perserved things going to give us information to saving our world, or saving the economic system, etc. There are so many reasons why we you should support this and why we shouldn't support it.
-According to this obviously biased site, when should people stick with Windows?

-Which are the three most compelling reasons to migrate to Linux, according to the web site ? Elaborate on each.
The first reason is there are no viruses, you don't have to worry about losing any important information and your computer getting missed up right before a huge essay you have to write to pass a class. This is a really good reason to switch to Linux. The second reason is you can save money and don't have to pay $300 for your operating system. A lot of people my not be able to afford an operating system each month because of the money income so linux might help them save money. The third reason is the freedom which is Linux and "Open Source" software are "free". This means their license is a "free license", and the most common is the GPL . This license states that anyone is allowed to copy the software, see the source code, modify it, and redistribute it as long as it remains licensed with the GPL.
